As a tenant or property owner, you’re free to choose your metering point operator – which means you don’t need any special permission to get a smart meter installed.

🚪 Is your meter accessible? Super important!

To install your new smart meter, your current meter must be easily accessible.


If it’s located in a locked room or is hard to reach, we recommend informing your property manager, landlord, or metering point operator in advance. That way, everything goes smoothly.
