With self-service, you handle things instantly and save time. You stay in control of your contract – and we can focus on the requests that need more attention.

πŸ’‘ There's a lot you can do directly in the Ostrom App without waiting for our support team, for example:

  • Rewards: View referrals

  • Account: Change password, manage push notifications, update personal details, request a security code via SMS, change language

  • Contract: Change contract name, create an additional contract, submit a cancellation, edit billing address, view current and past prices

  • Meter reading: Submit and view meter readings

  • Payments: Change payment method, adjust monthly deposit, view payments, view and download invoices

Available payment methods:

  • SEPA direct debit – the amount is automatically debited from your account

  • Manual bank transfer – you transfer the amount yourself. A few days before the due date, you'll receive our bank details by email.

No app access or international IBAN? Send us your IBAN and account holder name – we'll take care of the change.

Please note:

  • For new contracts, submissions are only possible from the delivery start date.

  • Error message? Send us a screenshot.

  • Submitted the wrong reading? Send us the correct reading including the date.

When Do I Need to Submit a Meter Reading?

Only if you don't have a smart meter – or if we haven't received consumption data from your metering point operator yet.

With a smart meter, manual submissions are usually not needed. We automatically receive a meter reading from your metering point operator at the end of each month.
