Your meter ID can be easily found on your electricity bill, usually written at the top.
Alternatively, you'll find the meter ID on your physical electricity meter written below the barcode. The meter is usually in your home by the front door, in the hallway, or in the basement. If you live in an apartment and can't find it, it's best to ask your landlord or your building manager (Hausverwaltung) for details.
