HT/NT stands for Hochtarif and Niedertarif. These meters have two counters which measure the consumption for two different time zones (during the day and during night).

If your meter is used for household electricity, you can easily sign up for the SimplyFair rate on our website. The grid operator will inform us whether there is a heat pump or storage heater at your home, and we will automatically adjust your tariff accordingly.

The terms of our heating tariff align precisely with our SimplyFair tariff. Please note that we make no distinction between peak and off-peak rates (HT and NT) —the unit price remains the same at all times.

That means: if you need to provide two meter readings, we charge the same unit price to both registers (HT: 1.8.1 and NT: 1.8.2). You can easily calculate the energy price using our tariff calculator: https://join.ostrom.de/tariff-plan?&language=en
