With SimplyFair, you get electricity at a fair price – with no hidden fees in the unit price. Many providers profit when you use more electricity. We do not.

⚙️ How does Ostrom calculate the electricity price?
We continuously monitor the electricity market and pass on energy to you at cost – with no markup.
📈 To smooth out extreme price spikes, we use a monthly average unit price that reflects the current market level.
🛑 This means:
There’s no fixed price guarantee, but full transparency.
📦 How is the tariff structured?
Your monthly deposit payment is made up of two components:
Base fee
Grid fees from your local grid operator
Ostrom’s 6 € monthly fee
Unit price (ct/kWh)
The price per kWh charged for your electricity consumption
📅 What happens when prices change?
If there’s a price adjustment, we’ll notify you four weeks in advance. This ensures that your tariff is valid for at least one full month.
