You should definitely have a 4G connection. LAN or WLAN won't work.

Details: The Smart Meter Gateway uses LTE technology, covering all network generations from 4G and older (GPRS/3G/4G). During installation, we check the RSRP value and install the devices up to a value of 105 dB.
