❌ Can I join the SimplyFair or SimplyDynamic tariff with a load profile meter (Lastgangzähler)?
At the moment, we’re unfortunately unable to supply load profile meters with RLM (registering load measurement) – this applies to both the SimplyFair and SimplyDynamic tariffs.
🔄 What can I do?
To use Ostrom, your current meter must be replaced with a smart meter that includes a BSI-certified smart meter gateway. This change needs to happen before you register with Ostrom.
👉 Please contact your grid operator to request a meter change.
💡 Once the new smart meter is installed and registered on the grid, please sign up with Ostrom.
📬 Why was my contract terminated?
If your grid operator reports a load profile meter with RLM metering profile, we’re technically unable to bill your consumption correctly.
In such cases, we unfortunately have to terminate the contract at the earliest possible date to avoid billing issues.
