💡 Important note: Please measure the signal strength right next to your electricity meter or meter cabinet to ensure reliable results.

🔹 For Android devices

  1. Open the Phone app.

  2. Enter #*#4636#*#*.

  3. The “Test” menu will open automatically.

  4. Select “Phone information”.

  5. Under Signal strength, you’ll see a value in dBm – note it down.

  6. Alternatively: Settings → About phone → Status → SIM status.

🍏 For iPhones (Field Test Mode)

  1. Turn off WiFi.

  2. Open the Phone app.

  3. Enter *3001#12345#* and tap Call.

  4. The Field Test Mode will start:

    • iOS 16 and newer: You’ll see the FTM Dashboard. Note the value under “LTE” → “RSRP”.

    • iOS 15 and older: Tap “LTE”, then “Serving Cell Measurement”. Note the value under “RSRP” or “rsrp0”.

  5. To exit: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen or press the Home button (on older models).

📊 Understanding the values (RSRP in dBm)

  • -50 to -85 dBm → Excellent to very good signal ✅

  • -85 to -90 dBm → Good signal 👍

  • -90 to -100 dBm → Fair/adequate signal 🤔

  • -100 to -110 dBm → Weak signal, calls often still possible 📞

  • Below -110 dBm → Very poor or no signal ❌

👉 Good to know: The closer the value is to 0 (less negative), the stronger your signal.
