🔌 What is a complex meter?
With a complex meter, you have two electricity meters connected one after the other. This is usually the case if you have a heat pump:
Main meter (upstream): measures your total electricity consumption, so your household and heat pump combined.
Heat pump meter (downstream): measures only the consumption of your heat pump.
That’s why we always need the meter readings from both meters, taken on the same day, to create a correct invoice.
📝 How to submit your meter readings

Enter the readings for both meters, each with the meter number, meter reading and reading date. This way, we can match each value to the right meter.
📲 Why not use the Ostrom App?
If you have a complex meter, the Ostrom App only lets you enter one meter reading, for your heat pump meter. You can’t enter the reading for your main meter there. To make sure both values reach us correctly, it’s best to submit your meter readings via the form.
