What is the SimplyFair12 tariff?

SimplyFair12 is a variant of our classic SimplyFair plan - based on the same core principle:

👉 100% renewable electricity, market-based pricing, full cost transparency, and fair contract terms.

The key difference:

👉 You receive a 12-month price guarantee for your energy price (ct/kWh).
This makes SimplyFair12 ideal for anyone who values planning security.

How is the price structured in the SimplyFair12 tariff?

1. Base fee

  • 7 € Ostrom base fee per month

  • plus the fixed grid fees charged by your local grid operator

2. Energy price (ct/kWh)

  • Market-based energy price

  • 12-month price guarantee: Your energy price remains fixed for the entire guarantee period and does not change.

🧮 How is billing handled in SimplyFair12?

Monthly deposit payments

You pay a monthly advance payment based on your expected annual consumption.

📊 Annual consumption statement (annual invoice)

Once per year, we compare your actual consumption with the advance payments (monthly deposit payments) you’ve made:

  • If you consumed less → you receive a refund

  • If you consumed more → an additional payment is due

The billing mechanism is the same as with SimplyFair - with the added benefit of a fixed energy price for 12 months.

🧮 How is the monthly deposit calculated?

Your monthly deposit is based on:

  1. Your estimated yearly consumption

  2. The SimplyFair12 energy price (with 12-month guarantee)

  3. The monthly base fee (7 € + grid operator fee)

Formula:
(Estimated annual consumption × energy price) + (12 × base fee) ÷ 12

You can adjust your monthly deposit at any time in the app if your usage changes.

📄 Contract term & cancellation

  • Minimum contract term: 12 months

  • Extension: automatically extended by 1 month after the initial term

  • Notice period:

    • 2 weeks before the end of the minimum contract term

    • after that, cancellable at any time with 2 weeks’ notice
