For optimization, NeoGrid® AI relies on two key forecasts, among other things:

NeoGrid® AI estimates how much electricity your home will need in the coming hours.PV forecast
It also calculates how much solar power your PV system is likely to generate.
By combining both values, NeoGrid® AI can recognize early on when additional electricity from the grid will be needed and when your battery should be charged on top of PV generation.
When does the battery charge from the grid?
The battery charges from the grid automatically whenever NeoGrid® AI considers it sensible.
This can be the case, for example, when:
higher household electricity consumption is expected,
little PV generation is forecast for the next few hours,
or a favorable, grid-friendly charging time is identified.
