The grid operator operates the power grid in your region. They ensure that electricity is delivered to your delivery address. In most cases, your electricity meter also belongs to the grid operator. Important: You usually cannot choose your grid operator, as it is assigned based on your location.
🔄 Who handles your registration and cancellation?
The grid operator is responsible for registering or deregistering your energy supplier at your delivery point. You don’t need to do anything for this – just make sure you provide your correct details in the signup form so your supply point can be properly identified.
After that, we’ll request the registration with the grid operator.

The name of your grid operator should be listed on your last electricity invoice.
