So you've decided to switch to Ostrom—congratulations, and thank you! What are the next steps?
In short, two things are going to happen:
Sign up
After you've signed up, Ostrom contacts the grid + your previous supplier to confirm that you're switching to us. Confirmation from them could happen within 30 minutes, but could also take up to 14 days (because the grid + your ex-supplier have no real incentive to quickly switch you over to us).In Delivery
When this is confirmed, we must wait for your minimum contract period from your previous supplier to end. Once this ends, a final meter reading will be sent by the grid and you will officially be switched to Ostrom!
And don't worry, no matter how long this takes we'll make sure you have electricity throughout the whole process!
