We use the meter reading to determine your electricity consumption.
For this, we calculate the difference between the last and current meter reading.
For example:
On January 1, your electricity meter shows 1234 kWh
On February 1 your electricity meter shows 1345 kWh
That means your electricity consumption for the month of January is 111 kWh
(1345 kWh - 1234 kWh)
All you have to do is locate your meter and read the numbers, which are in kilowatt hours (kWh).
